Polyceramoplast™ rods and bars are manufactured via the plunger extrusion (RAM-extrusion) method from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene grades PE1000 and PE9000. This technology ensures high structural homogeneity and stable physico-mechanical properties throughout the entire length of the product.
Material Characteristics
·Low surface adhesion and coefficient of friction (less than 0.1 under dry conditions);
·High wear resistance (surpasses traditional plastics);
·High chemical resistance (comparable to fluoroplastics);
·High impact toughness - does not embrittle at cryogenic temperatures;
·Low density - approximately 0.94 g/cm³;
·Operating temperature range from -250 °C to +100 °C.
Thanks to the combination of high strength, sliding properties, and stability at low temperatures, Поликерамопласт(Polyceramoplast™) rods and bars are used in mechanical manufacturing, transportation, and equipment requiring high wear resistance and chemical inertness.
