"Polyceramoplast-α-M" is a "oil-containing" ceramic reinforced composite materials based on UHMWPE with a molecular weight of approximately 9 million g/mol, specifically developed for conditions of high stickiness and humidity.
The material is used as a lining to prevent the adhesion and freezing of bulk materials while simultaneously protecting metal from abrasion.Typical applications include excavator and loader buckets, receiving hoppers, chutes, and troughs.
The α-M grade is capable of self-polishing by the transported material, which eliminates a typical defect of dry UHMWPE lining materials: within a short time, fuzz forms on the lining surface, reducing anti-adhesive properties to zero.
✔ Exceptional Anti‑Adhesion & Flow Performance
Thanks to its inherently low friction coefficient and hydrophobic surface, this material significantly reduces sticking and buildup of sticky or wet bulk products, speeding up material flow and cutting cleaning downtime. This is especially valuable in processing environments where adhesion leads to frequent stoppages.
✔ Superior Wear & Abrasion Resistance
Formulated on ultra‑high‑molecular‑weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) enhanced with advanced modifiers, Polyceramoplast™ exhibits high wear resistance that outperforms many traditional plastics and provides long service life in sliding and abrasive applications.
✔ Outstanding Impact Toughness
The material offers high impact resistance and excellent resistance to cracking even under vibration and shock loads. Its toughness—among the highest of engineering thermoplastics—helps protect equipment surfaces and extends maintenance intervals.
✔ Broad Chemical Compatibility
Chemical resistance comparable to fluoropolymers allows this composite to withstand a wide range of environments—from inert to aggressive media—without degradation, making it ideal for diverse industrial uses.
✔ Wide Operating Temperature Range
Engineered to perform from ‑260°C up to +80°C, Polyceramoplast™‑α‑M retains functional properties in both extreme cold and moderately elevated service conditions.
✔ Self‑Polishing Surface
Unique formulation promotes self‑polishing under use, maintaining a smooth, low‑friction surface over time—a key advantage in systems where conventional UHMWPE linings can accumulate fuzz and lose effectiveness.
