Dump Truck Body Liner with Composite Material
Our company offers professional installation of composite linings for dump truck bodies of any load capacity, using composites based on UHMWPE with our own proprietary modifying additives.
Operational Problems of Unlined Dump Trucks
The absence of body lining leads to serious operational and financial losses. When transporting bulk materials (sand, clay, coal, crushed stone), cargo sticks to the walls and bottom of the body, especially in wet weather. In winter, freezing of cargo worsens the situation: material does not fully unload, requiring manual cleaning and equipment downtime.
Stuck cargo reduces payload and increases fuel consumption by 10–15%. For complete unloading, drivers have to raise the body to the maximum angle, creating a critical risk of tipping on uneven sites. In addition, abrasive wear of unprotected metal bodies and corrosion from aggressive environments significantly shorten equipment service life, leading to costly repairs and component replacement.
Polyceramoplast Lining Material
Polyceramoplast is a composite material based on ultra‑high‑molecular‑weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) with modifying additives, developed by NPO GELAR. The material is specially designed for lining dump truck bodies, excavator buckets, and mining and transport equipment operating under severe conditions.
Dump truck body lining is the covering of the inner surface of the bottom and sides with wear‑resistant polymer material, protecting metal from mechanical damage and aggressive environments. The technology is widely used in quarries, construction, mining, and logistics.
Technical Characteristics
Polyceramoplast outperforms standard polymers (UHMWPE, PE 1000) and steel in key operational parameters:
·Coefficient of sliding friction: 0.08–0.12 (cargo does not stick to the surface)
·Wear resistance: higher than steel and conventional polyethylene
·Impact strength: 180–220 kJ/m² (material does not crack at temperatures down to -60°C)
·Chemical resistance: inert to acids, alkalis, and reagents
·Water absorption: 0% (does not absorb moisture or swell)
Applications and Equipment Types
Polyceramoplast lining is universal and suitable for various types of machinery. We work with quarry dump trucks (BelAZ, Komatsu, Caterpillar), construction vehicles (KAMAZ, MAN, Volvo, Scania), as well as agricultural and municipal vehicles (snowplows, garbage trucks).
The material handles all types of cargo: from bulk materials (sand, gravel, grain) to wet and sticky materials (clay, loam, silt). It is indispensable for transporting frozen cargo such as coal or wet sand, as well as aggressive substances including mineral fertilizers and salts.
Economic Efficiency of Lining
Dump truck body lining is an investment that pays off through reduced operating costs and increased productivity. Practice shows that return on investment occurs within 2 to 6 months of intensive operation.
By ordering from us, you receive direct manufacturer pricing without intermediaries, transparent estimates, and special conditions for vehicle fleets.

How long is the service life of the lining?
With proper operation, the service life of Polyceramoplast is 8–12 years, which significantly exceeds the service life of conventional polymers and steel plating.
How quickly does the installation pay for itself?
Average payback period – from 2 to 6 months. This is achieved by eliminating regular body repairs, saving fuel, and increasing machine turnaround.
Can an old, worn-out body be lined?
Yes, the lining is ideal for refurbishing worn-out bodies. It hides metal defects and prevents further damage, extending the service life of old equipment.
What if the lining gets damaged?
The material is repairable. In the event of local damage, we cut out the affected area and weld in a new section. This is quick and inexpensive, and no full removal of the lining is required.
Do you provide a warranty?
Yes, we provide an official warranty on both the material and the installation work.
